obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Zaragoza in 1999. After a post-doctoral period at Ghent University, he became Professor of Analytical Chemistry at the University of Zaragoza in 2003. He currently leads the research group MARTE, devoted to the investigation of the capabilities of atomic spectrometry techniques for bulk and spatially resolved trace and isotopic analysis of solid samples and complex liquid materials, topics to which he has contributed with more than 100 publications.
